VOLUNTEERS
Maintenance Work. We need volunteers to carry out maintenance work. If you are a qualified electrician, or have plumbing, carpentry or other skills or abilities we would love to hear from you.

Drivers: We need volunteer drivers to collect animals from our veterinary surgery and from domestic premises and bring them to the Animal Centre. If you can help with this (usually daytime) task please call us. The more drivers we have the less work for each. Equipment supplied.

Animal Care: We do not need any more volunteers to help care for the animals at present. We have a number of young people on Work Experience doing this.

WRAS would like to thank all our volunteers. They are what keeps our service going.

Barry and June have had veterinary training to help the animals and birds with minor injuries and the local vet often helps out with the bigger problems. The Service would like to thank Medivet for all their help.

In the past, businesses have sent employees to us for the day to help with building and construction work.

All volunteers are welcome, we are always in need of help. We can give placements for student work experience.

If you would like to volunteer your services as a driver or maintenance worker your time and skills would be much appreciated. We need people who are dedicated and reliable. Please contact us on 0208 344 2785 or 07970 141282, or call at the Centre for more information.
